Federal Judge Establishes Religion.
Yahoo! News - Ga. Evolution Stickers Ordered Removed
These Stickers said absolutely nothing about Religion. They stated a simple fact. Evolution is theory not fact. The schools should have academic freedom to teach that science is a work in progress, and that we don't know everything.
The way I see it, this Judge is calling the doubt expressed Heresy, and is establishing Evolutionary theory as a unquestionable creator.
Gravity is also a theory, not a fact.
a thoery is: "a model or idea that has undergone testing or validation from careful observations and can be used to make a variety of predictions of what will happen under different circumstances." http://astronomy.nju.edu.cn/astron/Astronomynotes/glosst.htm
Most people confuse theory with hypothesis: "a tentative theory about the natural world; a concept that is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain facts or phenomena; "a scientific hypothesis that survives experimental testing becomes a scientific theory"; "he proposed a fresh theory of alkalis that later was accepted in chemical practices" "

It seems misguided to label science books with stickers that misuse and confuse the vocabulary of science.
Also, evolution is widely accepted among biologists. In an earlier era, like Newton, Darwin would have termed evolution a "law." In modern times, "law" isn't used because all models would be abandoned in the case of contrary evidence. there is no such evidence against evolution that has yet been found.
If students are taught science, they would learn that while theories are widely accepted, they would be overturned in favor of better theories, thus showing, " that science is a work in progress, and that we don't know everything." Screwing up the terms teaches them nothing.
