The Vietnam issue is a big loser for Kerry. Those who went to Veitnam are going to be perpetually angry about being called war criminals by Mr. Kerry. Those who joined the reserves, national guard, or got college deferments and the like are not going to take too kindly to having their americanism challenged because they did not go to the war. Basically an entire generation is being alienated from Mr Kerry the longer this stays in the news.
Proven forgery is going to further degrade any credibilty the democrats had left.
